Kaiyodo Space Factory Nankoku
The Kaiyodo Space Factory Nankoku is brought to you by a collaboration between Nankoku City and Kaiyodo, under the slogan “the fun of making for all”. In addition to exhibits of world-class figurines, there is a factory where visitors can see the site of Japan’s first figurine production, as well as a hands-on manufacturing corner.

Ekingura
Ekingura, or Ekin for short. An artist who made his mark about 200 years ago. He left many folding screen paintings using the “Iji Dozu” method, in which two or three scenes from a Kabuki play are painted on a single screen. The “Ekingura” houses and preserves 23 theatrical screens left in the town.

Noichi Zoological Park of Kochi Prefecture
Ranked #1 on TripAdvisor’s Zoo ranking in 2019 and #1 on TripAdvisor’s Zoo and Aquarium ranking in 2020. This zoological park is unique in that there are few cages or fences, and the animals are housed in environments that are close to their natural habitats, under the concept of “where both people and animals have a good time.”

Ryugado Cave
This limestone cave is a nationally designated historical site and natural monument. This mysterious cave is approximately 4 km in length, created by rainwater that accumulated near the top of the mountain and formed over 175 million years ago by the erosion of the limestone.

Kami City Yanase Takashi Memorial Hall Anpanman Museum
Anpanman Museum is located in the hometown of Takashi Yanase, the creator of Anpanman. This museum is themed around one of Takashi Yanase’s best-known works, the Anpanman. It exhibits original picture book drawings and tableaux that Takashi Yanase drew especially for this museum, allowing visitors to appreciate a different world from the animation.
